We are strengthening our team and now looking for

Expeditor to join our procurement and supply chain management professionals´ team at ValueSource and to work in our customer assignment.

Your responsibilities include

• Planning of expediting together with project team
• Checking and following of suppliers manufacturing time schedules according to project requirements
• Controlling and monitoring documentation and plans related to suppliers´deliveries including the plans for procurement, subcontracting, manufacturing and testing
• Keeping up the project on supplier progress and possible support needs
• Supporting quality assurance and testing according to assurance and testing plans 
• Building efficient and functioning communication with the project team members and stakeholders like sourcing, procurement, quality and suppliers
• Proactive communication to project on any issues affecting deliveries
• Controlling and managing payment posts and delay compensations related to project time schedules
• Estimation and planning of needed expediting actions case by case
• Follow-up on project schedules, mile stones and targets to meet the order, delivery and technical requirements and in case of any challenges or issues also corrective actions and management of contract obligations
• Expedition related reporting to project management

We expect you to have earlier experience on expediting and preferably also supplier quality assurance and testing in project business environment. You also have technical background and understanding in machine and equipment manufacturing, related processes and testing methods. You have understanding and experience on different quality standards, systems, metrics and supplier audits. Your mindset is highly positive, and you are able to work independently as well as part of the team giving advice and consult others. Your motivation is to succeed and help others to succeed. 

Our customer environment is typically truly international, so we expect you to communicate fluently in English - Finnish skills are an advantage. This position is in Helsinki Metropolitan area. Travelling is naturally to some extent included and there is a possibility to partial hybrid work mode as well. We expect flexibility and enthusiastic attitude to dive into new challenges and new environments.

You have either technical or commercial Master’s degree. In case of commercial degree you have a strong technical background from earlier work experience. Position is full time.
